Sharing is a big part of who I am, and I’m all about letting others in on what I absolutely love. It’s pretty much why I chose my career. I’m the type of person who, when we meet for lunch, can’t help but share all the fantastic things I’ve discovered — books, TV shows, true crime documentaries, my latest finds on Amazon, eyeliner stamps (more on those later), the sea salt chocolates from Trader Joe’s, tips on getting sneakers at a discount, and even a hairbrush perfume hack for great-smelling hair all day. The list goes on.
But right now, the one tip I’m excited to share with everyone is all about I.AM.GIA. Have you heard of it? If not, you’ve probably seen it because it’s all over Instagram, and the coolest girls like Bella, Gigi, Kendall, and Kaia are all over it.
I noticed it while scrolling through my feed and initially thought the prices would be sky-high. But then I read an article calling it the budget brand that all the fashionable people are raving about. Budget-friendly? That caught my attention! I love brands that consider our wallets while still delivering style and quality. Most pieces are under $200, with lots well below $100, which for what you’re getting, is an amazing deal.
And who doesn’t love the idea of wearing the same outfit as Gigi? So, here’s a bit of background on this fantastic brand that’s being hailed as “Instagram’s new favorite fashion brand.” I.AM.GIA is an Australian brand, which figures because Australia produces some of the best in fashion.
The brand’s owner, Alana Pallister, is a super cool personality on Instagram, known as @gypspallister. She might as well be my alter ego for events like Burning Man, a festival my mom is eager to attend. Fun fact: Alana came up with the idea for I.AM.GIA during a meditation session in a sensory deprivation tank. I don’t exactly know what that is, but now I’m curious and searching for one in San Diego. What a fierce way to envision such an edgy brand.
Alana created the brand around a character named GIA, inspired by Gia Carangi, the world’s first supermodel, aiming to create a brand that anyone could fit into. Just look at the diversity of styles on the I.AM.GIA tagged page and you’ll see it does just that. Plus, with prices that fit the budget, it’s hard to stop shopping!
You’re welcome for this tip, guys!
