Captivating Series I Enjoyed During Quarantine

During quarantine, I’ve watched a ton of TV, and while I do engage in other activities as well, I really love getting lost in a good show. My TV preferences are pretty varied, ranging from the incredibly cheesy to the dramatically intense. I’m hoping this list gives you some ideas if you’re looking for something new to binge. And hey, if you know of any shows I’m missing out on, please let me know!

**Binge-Worthy Shows I’ve Watched in Quarantine:**

**Guilty Pleasures:**

– **Dynasty:** This show is an obsession of mine—think modern-day soap opera with all the drama like face transplants and surprise siblings. It’s a guilty pleasure for sure, complete with incredible fashion. It’s a remake that stands out on its own and is so binge-able.

– **90 Day Fiancé:** My ultimate guilty pleasure. I’m not usually into reality TV, but this is exceptional. With multiple spinoffs like “Happily Ever After” and “The Other Way,” it’s endlessly entertaining. Start at the beginning if you’re new to this series.

– **Love is Blind:** While I typically steer clear of reality shows with a lot of drama, this one caught my attention. It’s about strangers meeting and getting engaged before seeing each other—strange but very entertaining.

– **Tiger King:** You’ve probably seen it, but if not, you should. It’s a rollercoaster of a show that’s truly unforgettable.

**Drama/Crime/Suspense:**

– **The Good Doctor:** If you enjoyed Grey’s Anatomy, give this a try. It follows an autistic doctor’s journey and his extraordinary medical skills mixed with personal challenges.

– **911:** Similar to Grey’s, but centers around emergency calls. Each episode presents new storylines, and it can be thrilling and anxiety-inducing!

– **Station 19:** A spin-off from Grey’s Anatomy focusing on firefighters. It pulls in some familiar characters and offers a fresh perspective.

– **Law & Order SVU:** A classic I’ll always love. If you’re new to the series, you have many seasons to catch up on—lucky you!

– **Outerbanks:** Initially skeptical, but it’s full of drama, suspense, romance, and a coming-of-age storyline. Can’t wait to see how it ends!

– **The Stranger:** A British mystery thriller that keeps you guessing. We powered through it in a weekend.

– **Dead to Me:** I need to rewatch some episodes because I loved it, and with season 2 out, it’s time to catch up.

– **In The Dark:** About a blind woman navigating life’s messiness and solving a mystery—it’s compelling and different.

– **Little Fires Everywhere:** This series surprised me, especially with a character as different from the book as Reese Witherspoon’s. It brings the book to life in an intriguing way.

– **Unorthodox:** A short and powerful watch about a Hasidic Jew escaping her past to find a new life. I wish it were longer.

**Girl Power/Comedy:**

– **Workin’ Moms:** Absolutely hilarious, whether you’re a parent or not. It’s quick to binge and sure to make you laugh.

– **Never Have I Ever:** A new, delightful coming-of-age story about an Indian girl navigating high school.

– **Shrill:** Full of laughs and empowering moments, this show’s charm is in its relatable characters.

– **pen15:** One of my top coming-of-age comedies, it’s hilariously relatable and had me laughing non-stop.

– **Dollface:** This show is quirky but full of great messages. It’s weird yet enjoyable.

– **Gossip Girl:** Not strictly girl-power or comedy, but it’s a girly show I loved revisiting. The fashion and drama are timeless, even years later.

– **Schitt’s Creek:** A must-watch comedy that’s funny, iconic, and family-friendly.

**Up Next:**

– **Hollywood:** Everyone’s raving about it, and it’s next on my list after Outer Banks.

– **ZeroZeroZero:** Recommended by a friend, this Italian drama about drug smuggling sounds promising.
