Can Instagram’s Trending *Crystal* Lip Balm Live Up to the Buzz?

I’m that girl who would totally buy something just for Instagram. I just got this amazing gold floor-length mirror purely for the selfie potential (wondering if that counts as a tax write-off?). Right now, it’s just sitting in a corner until I’m ready for a mirror pic, because we already have another full-length mirror that’s more flattering, but doesn’t quite fit my Instagram vibe.
I probably shouldn’t admit this, but I’m not ashamed. I can’t pass up a good Instagram moment and will jump on the Next Big Thing if it looks great in photos. Enter my latest Instagram obsession: Move over, Starbucks pink drink; it’s all about EOS Crystal lip balm.
I’m really into lip balms, and this one is the cutest. It looks like a mini crystal ball and is gaining a lot of attention, not just for its looks. If you haven’t heard of EOS Balls, well, where have you been? They’re basically a must-have. If you peek into any drawer or bag of mine, you’ll find one. I love the fun shapes and vibrant colors—they never get lost in my purse. The flavors are irresistible at checkout, and I can’t get enough of the honeydew!
I’m a long-time EOS fan, so I was thrilled to be part of the launch for their new Crystal lip balm. I’m picky about balms. They have to be glossy but not sticky, provide lasting moisture without feeling heavy, and smell amazing. Crystal Lips checks all my boxes. It feels light despite the long-lasting moisture, looks perfect in flatlays or as a prop in outfit posts, and comes in two delicious flavors—Vanilla Orchid and Hibiscus Peach. I love them both equally, so grab both!
You can even use the balm to tame brows or baby hairs (something I do a lot), and the reusable containers make the cutest pill cases. Plus, it’s 100% wax-free and vegan! I’m not completely vegan (I can’t give up cheese), but I try to keep my skincare as vegan as possible.
Here’s a tip: dab some on your cheekbones, nose bridge, and inner eye corners before applying highlighter for an extra glow. I can’t believe I wrote a whole post about lip balm, but you know it’s good. It’s always with me, and even my mom tried to steal it—twice! She ended up getting her own from Target.
The outfit featured here gives all the Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion vibes:
– Missguided printed denim skirt and matching jacket
– White ribbed bodysuit (just $10!)
– Black oversized rectangle sunglasses
– Black pony hair cowboy boots (vintage, similar styles available)
– Hot pink Gucci bag (from Tradesy, with similar styles available)
Note: This post was sponsored by EOS, but as always, all opinions are my own.
