Achieve the Ultimate Dewy Complexion: Glass Skin Tips and Tricks

GLASS SKIN IS SO IN

If you’ve ever wondered about my skincare obsession, it’s all about the incredible routines Koreans have for their skin. I’m mesmerized by the flawless, dewy complexions they achieve. On my Instagram, I have a special folder labeled “skin goals” filled with images of Koreans with skin so radiant, it looks like it’s made of glass—hence the name, Glass Skin. This look is a huge trend in the beauty world right now.

So, how do you achieve Glass Skin?

While I’m not a skincare expert, I’ve nailed down a routine, complete with some handy tips, to help you achieve that glass-like look. I’ll admit, my affinity for Korean skincare is paying off nicely.

YOUR BASE IS YOUR FACE!

The secret to glass skin lies in your skincare routine, especially moisturizing. There are a few makeup tricks you could use, but it all starts with a solid skincare foundation. Here’s my routine:

THE NIGHT BEFORE:
If I’m planning for a glass skin look the next day, I start prepping the night before. The evening routine mirrors my morning routine with a few extras.

– After cleansing and toning, I use the EOS Aqua Clay Mask. As a mask enthusiast, I love this clay mask because it deeply cleanses my pores but remains hydrating thanks to seaweed infusion, so it doesn’t dry my skin.
– After finishing my skincare routine, I also give my lips some TLC. Lip masks are crucial, and my current favorite is the EOS Aqua Hydrating Lip Treatment. I apply it before bed, and by morning, my lips are incredibly soft and appear fuller.

MORNING OF:
1. **CLEANSE**:
Always cleanse your face gently, in small circles, so it doesn’t dry out. If your face doesn’t feel clean, wash again.

2. **TONE**:
Even after cleansing, toner works wonders to clear skin. I prefer one with geranium as it helps with hormonal acne.

3. **SERUM OF THE DAY**:
Depending on my skin’s needs, I use either a rose or brightening serum. Before it fully dries, I do a quick Gua Sha facial massage to boost collagen and reduce dark circles.

4. **MOISTURIZER**:
This is my favorite step as it completes the dewy look. EOS Aqua’s moisturizer is fantastic for achieving that glassy glow. It’s rich but turns to water on the skin, leaving a luminous finish.

THE MAKEUP:
1. **PRIME**:
Once my skin is ready, I use the EOS Aqua balm skin hydrator, which acts as a toner, serum, and moisturizer all in one. For extra glow, I mix it with a bit of powder highlighter.

2. **COVERAGE**:
Using a foundation brush, I lightly apply CC cream with a drop of rose oil to maintain a light look, avoiding cakiness. I prefer using a brush as it provides a lighter application than a sponge.

3. **CONCEAL**:
With a tiny concealer brush, I take product from my hand and apply it precisely on spots, under the eyes, and around the nose. The brush should have enough product to cover perfectly.

4. **PAT IT IN**:
I bring in the beauty blender, spritzed with rosewater mist, to dab cream bronzer on my cheekbones and blend light makeup for all-day staying power.

5. **BROWS & LASHES**:
Keep brows looking natural and fluffy. Use a pencil to fill in softly and apply mascara—preferably with a curler.

6. **HIGHLIGHT**:
For a dewy look, I use a cream highlighter on prominent areas like the bridge of my nose and cheekbones with a slightly damp beauty blender.

7. **LIPS**:
My lips finish the look. I start by scrubbing with EOS Aqua Purifying Lip Scrub, which is gentle but effective. Then, I apply EOS Aqua Dynamic Lip Gloss, which changes color based on your lips for a natural rosy glow and a glossy finish.

Are you on board with this trend? Will you give Glass Skin a shot? Honestly, it makes my morning routine more exciting because I can’t wait to see the results.
