I’m a sucker for buying things just to take good photos for Instagram. I recently bought a gorgeous gold floor-length mirror, mainly because I thought it would look amazing in my selfies. It’s actually sitting in a corner until I need it for a picture, because we already have a perfectly good mirror – it’s more flattering, but less stylish and doesn’t match my Instagram feed.
I know it sounds silly, but I can’t help it! I love creating great Instagram moments and I’m always first in line for the latest trendy thing if it looks good. That brings me to my newest obsession: EOS Crystal lip balm.
I’m a huge lip balm fan, and this one is a total winner, especially looks-wise. It’s so cute and clear – like a tiny crystal ball! Beyond the pretty looks, it’s also really good.
For those unfamiliar with EOS lip balms, let me tell you, they’re a lifesaver! I keep them everywhere – my bags, drawers, you name it. I love the fun shapes and colors, and the flavors always tempt me at the checkout. I’m obsessed with the honeydew one!
As a long-time EOS user, I was thrilled to try their new Crystal lip balm. I’m picky about my balms; they need to be glossy without being sticky, moisturizing but lightweight, and smell amazing. This one hits all the marks. I’ve probably tried every lip balm ever made, so trust me when I say, you need this.
The Crystal lip balm is perfect: it’s lightweight yet super moisturizing, looks fantastic in photos, tastes delicious (Vanilla Orchid and Hibiscus Peach are both amazing!), and it can even tame flyaway hairs. Plus, the container is reusable! It’s also wax-free and vegan. I’m not fully vegan (I love cheese!), but I try to keep my skincare vegan-friendly.
A pro tip: dab a little on your cheekbones, nose, and inner eye corners, then add highlighter for an amazing glow.
